Anuja Ghate is a physical therapist who uses the continuum between physical rehabilitation and athletic performance to guide her practice. She believes that teaching individuals how to optimally utilize their movement system is just as much a part of the therapeutic experience as overcoming an injury.
A former competitive gymnast, Anuja worked as a personal trainer for nearly a decade following her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercy College and has extensive experience in movement screening, strength training, bodyweight training techniques, and soft tissue manipulation.
Anuja values the role of a comprehensive rehabilitation program in helping individuals recover from injury as well as advance toward their ultimate movement goals, whether it be sports performance or simply improving their quality of life.
