Richard S. Finney, Massage Therapist, NCTMB since 2006 has founded the concept, Resilient Performance Therapeutic Massage Therapy. With his Bachelors' Degree from Northern Illinois University, formalized training at The New School for Massage in Chicago and the The Leidecker Institute of Elgin he is actively licensed in The United States of America in BOTH the State of Illinois and The State of New Jersey. He is also bonded with AMTA, NCTMB as Massage Therapist, and national accreditation as a Certified Hypnotherapist thru The National Guild of Hypnotherapists.
Trained and traveled through portions of Sweden, Thailand, Germany, Turkey, Hungary, and most recently Beijing China, The Sports Hospital serving The Chinese Olympic Team, for the upcoming 2008 Olympics. Richard Finney, former Big Gun Award Winner from local Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire has served world class athletes and performers through a myriad of rehab and sports related injury has finally come home.
Born on the east coast, his extensive athletic background including football, baseball, basketball, tennis is addition to being a scholarship athlete for Northern Illinois University in Water Polo and Swimming, his personal history carried him through a true champion's plate of successes and sport related injuries.
